8.19.05 - THE MISTAKES LIVE!!

THE MISTAKES will be playing their first (and probably last) live show in a LONG time on Sept 10th at Tailspins in Las Vegas. It's ALL AGES and FREE so come down and join t.Odd, Chris, Starboy, and Skyla as they celebrate Sean (original Mistakes drummer) and Jens wedding, as well as the 10 year anniversary of The Mistakes forming (originally as 'LARRY') way back in 1995!! 3.12.05 - THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS NOW....

Welcome to ultraentertainment.net Version 1.0! It's been about 2 years now since I took the Reject Records site down, and I'll briefly explain why that happened, and what prompted me to return with Ultra Entertainment.

First of all, Reject Records is no more. It was 100% my company, and I take full responsibility for it's demise, due partly to my past excessive spending on 'recreation' (for myself and my so-called 'friends') and partly to my wasteful investment in a certain band. The company as it was no longer exists. For legal reasons that have just recently been resolved, I was forced to take the site off-line. I had some great times during the 'Reject' years and met a lot of great people, all of which I cherish.  I also learned a lesson (the hard way) about worthless people, wherein no matter how much trust, help, or $$$ you invest in them, in the end they are what they are... worthless.

Live and learn I guess. The past is the past and it's time to move on...

Another obvious change is the web design. Global Media Image did an AMAZING job on the old site, and we may work together again in the future, but for now I will be handling it myself, which means it'll follow the 'back-to-basics' approach I've taken to my business and my life. Myspace.com has pretty much made the traditional band web-site obsolete anyway. There will be no guest list or message boards on this site, so if you're looking for a place to post how much I suck you'll have to do it elsewhere.

So what is Ultra Entertainment?

Ultra Entertainment is a recording studio, a production company, a record label and a million great ideas waiting to happen. It's a place where you'll find info about my projects (The Mistakes, XERO1 etc..) as well as other great artists (Sputnik, Killingbird etc..). It's the future of entertainment. It's whatever the fuck I want it to be..
